Since our founding in 1898, we have kept our business in the family. Insurance can be messy, complicated, and overwhelming, but our promise to clients is a familiar face and a family name that knows independent insurance offerings. We live in our local communities, and are your friends and neighbors just the same as we are your insurance advisors.
We’ve lasted for over 125 years.
As our current Senior Insurance Advisor Roger Huth says, “Few things last 100 years, let alone 125.” We are proud to have survived World Wars, the Great Depression, and to be able to continue to serve our customers throughout the Lehigh Valley.
1898
Frank Huth, opened the business in 1898.
1916
Frank’s son, Frank Reinhart Huth, joined the agency in 1916, along with his brother-in-law Charles W. K. Shafer.
1937
Founder Frank Huth died in 1937, but his legacy lived on.
1981
Frank Reinhart Huth managed the business and worked for 65 years until his death in 1981.
1960
In 1960 Frank Reinhart Huth welcomed one of his sons, F. Robert Huth to the agency.
1976
In 1976 the agency incorporated and welcomed two of F. Robert’s children, Roger and Linda as agents.
1971
In 1971 the agency moved to its current home on 16 Belvidere St. in Nazareth.
1990
As a 5th generation Huth, Jennifer Brooks joined the agency in June of 1990.
